Buddy

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRETY OF THE POST - IT WILL PROBABLY ANSWER MOST QUESTIONS - INCLUDING HOW TO APPLY. This is Buddy. He is a four month old Lab/Siberian mix. This young guy has not had life too easy. He was apparently originally obtained as a 6 week old puppy. The person who had him decided last week to get rid of him and the person who took him kept him for 3 or 4 days and then surrendered him to us as he is a handful. Well duh - he is a four month old Lab/Husky mix - that is to be expected. Apparently the original owner wouldn't take him back. He is very friendly and very outgoing - just a typical puppy who has had no one to work with him on manners. Besides the fact that his breed combination just says HIGH ENERGY all the way around. The person who surrendered him says he is housebroken and crate trained but does say he is very "mouthy" - in other words he always wants to chew on something. Part of this may be that he was taken away too early from the litter and part may just be he is a PUPPY. He will be neutered on 2/25/20 and ready for adoption starting on 2/27/20. He needs a home that will work with him and teach him basics. He needs a home that understands puppy behavior and that has the time and patience to work with him. With his breeds the lights will go on at about 2 years old and he will all of a sudden get what you have been trying to teach him. He is doing excellent around kids (he loves them and may be a little too much for small children). He was nice and clean when he came in and with all of the melting snow has managed to get himself all muddy playing in the playyard. He does great with other dogs as long as they are willing to play. Buddy's adoption fee will be $275.00. That will include all shots up to date, neuter, worming and micro-chip. Miley

Ms. Miley came into us with 7 newborn babies. She has now finished raising her babies and is looking for her very own home. She is probably a Greyhound/Lab mix. She is very sweet and such an affectionate dog. She has been great with everyone around here - adults, kids, other dogs, etc. No clue on cats. While she was nursing she had no accidents inside her "house" and would use her doggie door to go in and out to go potty. She is about 3 years old. She will be ready for her new home by 3/26/20. She will be spayed, current on all of her shots, is heartworm negative and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee will be $250.00.
